Step 1: Install Accent
  • Download OvernightScribe Accent app on your iOS device from the App Store (free trial is only available on iOS platform)

  • Sign in to your iCloud account on device
    • Step 2: Grab Your Free Tokens
  • Successful sign-in to iCloud will show free tokens allocated to you

  • Tap on Guest Notes & Dictations
    • Dictations will be saved on respective devices. Transcribed notes will be saved in your iCloud drive, so that they can be accessed from all your devices.
    Step 3: Create Dictation
  • Tap Plus (+) icon to create new dictation
    • Step 4: Choose Template
  • Choose a template right for the desired patient encounter type
    • Step 5: Choose Record Option
  • Choose Record Dictation option

  • Enter Name and Date of Service

  • Tap Select to open Dictation view
    • Step 6: Record Dictation
  • Tap record button to start recording

  • Use the Action button for more edit (insert/overwrite) options

  • Close Dictation view when done
    • Step 7: Upload
  • Tap upload button to send dictation over to us for transcription

  • Check back in next 12-20 hours to access transcribed note
    • Step 8: Delivery
  • Insert signature using pencil tool

  • Export as PDF, RTF or Text file

  • Make further edits
    Note will be saved to your iCloud account, and you can access it from any iOS device by installing Accent on it.

  • Expand Additional options to view layout of each template
    Token Consumption: Professional Medical Transcription (record dictation) would consume 180 tokens for a minute of dictation (when you run out of free tokens, you could get more from App Store In-App purchase).
    • Instant Note
  • If you prefer, you could instantly create a note with the help of the Speech-to-Text editor -- choose the Create Note option (instead of Record Dictation)
    This takes 60 tokens for a minute of dictation.
